Refer a Friend Program Terms & Conditions

As a Refer a Friend participant (a “Referrer”), you are subject to CBR Renewable Energy Solutions Pty Ltd (“CBR”) Terms of Use and CBR’s Privacy Policy, as well as the below Refer a Friend Program Terms & Conditions:

1.Terms

• Referral: The act of submitting a prospective customer’s details to CBR.

• Referrer: An existing CBR customer, who has had a Solar, Battery or Electric Heat Pump supplied and installed by CBR, who submits a sales prospect to CBR.

• Friend: The new prospect whose details are submitted by the referrer.

• The Program: CBR’s Refer a Friend Program.

2. Conditions

1. This offer is only available in Victoria.   

2. By participating in the Program, you are stating that the named friend provided by you is eligible for this Program and that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Program.

3. There is no limit per person on the accumulated amount of monetary rewards received by any one participant from referrals submitted through the Program. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.

4. Referrers may submit as many referrals as they choose as long as the friend meets the eligibility criteria as stated herein.

5. Only if the friend successfully converts by installing and paying in full for an eligible CBR Renewable product will the referral reward be paid to the referrer.

6. Eligible CBR Renewable products are defined as being completed and fully paid Solar, Battery or Electric Heat Pump Installations.

7. The Program only applies to the system configurations listed in points 5 and 6 above and cannot be combined with any other company special programs or benefits.

8. The reward for a successful referral is $200 (GST inc). The approved funds will be paid electronically to your nominated banking institution.

9. The referral reward will be processed and paid within 21 business days following the latter of:
   (i) the installation date; or
   (ii) date the invoice is paid in full.
   CBR will not be responsible for invalid or incorrect banking details provided. 

10. In order to be considered an eligible referral, the friend must not have contacted CBR of their own volition within the last 60 days and within our CRM.

11. An eligible Referral is defined as a purchase made at www.cbrsolar.com by a person (a "Referred Customer") who arrives at our website by providing your Referral Code. You are limited to one eligible Referral for each Referred Customer; in other words, additional/repeat purchases made by a Referred Customer are not counted as additional eligible Referrals.  

12. In order to be considered an eligible referral, another referrer must not have already referred the friend.

13. In the case where multiple referrers refer the same friend, the reward will be paid to the first referrer. The date stamped confirmation will be used to determine which referral has primacy.

14. You can only become an eligible referrer under the program once you have had a completed installation and paid for your installation in full.

15. Referrals are invalid where the referrer and the friend are the same person (for example, by using a different email address) or reside at the same residential address. The Referred Customer has to be a new customer who has never purchased from CBR before. We automatically disqualify suspicious referrals. If someone you referred made their first purchase using your CBR referral link and you didn’t receive credit, your referral might have been flagged as suspicious. 16. It is the responsibility of the referrer to ensure that the friend is eligible under the conditions of this document.

17. Once the referral is made, CBR will make contact with the friend as soon as is reasonably possible. In the case where the referrer has provided an incorrect email or CBR is not able to contact the registered friend by email address, CBR reserves the right to disqualify the reward after a 30-day period.

18. The referrer can only receive the rewards based on installations at the address stated in the referral  submission.

19. This Program supersedes any previous terms and conditions.

20. By accepting our terms and conditions, you represent that you have the authority to disclose the name of the person or business (friend) who is referred to us. Without this authority you acknowledge that you are ineligible to participate in the program.

21. CBR will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (included, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with redeeming the reward, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

22. The terms and conditions of this program are subject to change at any time without notice. This Program may be terminated at CBR’s discretion. Any changes to the Program will not affect referrals already in process. Unclaimed referral rewards 60 days after the Program closure will be forfeited.

23. By participating in the Program, you agree and consent to CBR using and disclosing your personal information for the purposes of the Program and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program; and using your details for internal use or marketing purposes at CBR’s sole discretion.

24. If, for any reason, the Program is not able to be run as planned, including computer virus, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, vandalism, power failures, natural disasters or any other cause beyond the control of CBR, which affects the administration, security and integrity of this program, then CBR reserves the right to cancel, modify or postpone the promotion.

25. This Program is intended for clients of CBR to refer new clients for the provision of CBR’s eligible products and services. Any practices which deviate from the spirit of this program will be deemed ineligible for reward at CBR’s discretion. Such practices include, but are not limited to, third-party lead brokering entities (or similar) utilising the program for referring clients to CBR which do not have a bona fide referral connection with an existing CBR client.
